Start-Up Huddle is back with its sixth edition! In this special edition we are celebrating Women Entrepreneurs of Nepal with a 6 min pitch of an amazing start up, prolific panelists and a quirky activity lined-up for you!
The purpose of the special edition is to bring women entrepreneurs at the center stage and highlight the unique challenges that they face in their day to day entrepreneurial life. The event will comprise of a panel discussion on- ‘Challenges of Women Entrepreneurship.’ with exceptional women from diverse backgrounds who will bring multi-faceted point of views on the table by drawing examples from their personal journeys, hurdles and success to inspire other women entrepreneurs.
Our esteemed panelists include Bahar Kumar, Director at Nepal Communitere, Bhawana Shrestha co-founder of My Emotions Matters, Shweta Sherchan Digital Marketing Strategist and Reetal Rana Managing Director at Mid- Valley International College. The panel discussion will be moderated by Thryza Dow, CEO Blincventures.com.
Moreover, in the usual format of Start-up Huddle, the panel discussion will be followed by six minutes pitch by Bhawana Shrestha, cofounder of My Emotions Matter who will present her company’s work and share current challenges in its one and a half years of operations. After the presentation, she and the audience will engage in 20 minutes of solution-based Q & A round.
Furthermore, we have a special feature activity- ‘WALK IN HER SHOES’ Here, the men in the audience will walk in heels with the intention to show solidarity with challenges of women in Entrepreneurial journey. This activity will symbolically represent unique challenges that women entrepreneurs go through .
