Kathmandu, February 25 : The Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs’ Forum (NYEF) and the Nepal-US Alumni Network (NUSAN) are together hosting the ‘Women Entrepreneurship Summit’ in the capital on March 1.
The event is slated to be inaugurated by Finance Minister Yubaraj Khatiwada. It aims to organize workshops, seminars, and networking activities on contemporary issues to engage and strengthen NUSAN members.
According to the NYEF, the one day-summit will be focused on discussions and deliberations on entrepreneurship in Nepal and women in entrepreneurship.
Laxmi Bank, one of the partners of the summit, will come up with specialised loan scheme for women entrepreneurs in the summit. terms and conditions pertaining to collateral security and interest rates.
The summit will be held with the theme of ‘Connect, Collaborate, Create’.
The one-day summit will also feature a series of sessions to highlight the issues being faced by entrepreneurs, especially women. There will be sessions that aim at enhancing the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the 200 participants.
